Help Wanted: Dance Team Supervisor
The Target Center has posted an online application for the position of Dance Team Supervisor.The Minnesota Timberwolves are currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Dance Team Supervisor. Team supervisor is responsible for the choreography, performance and overall management of the Timberwolves Dancers.
Except for the dance background part, the job listing could be describing the duties of an NBA coach. Considering the pay differential between the two and lack of job security for this position within the organization, the requirements seem almost too much to ask:
-Dance background and strong choreography skills required
-Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
-Strong teamwork and relationship-building talents
-Ability to work weekends and evenings- flexible schedule
-Able to take creative direction and feedback
-Knowledge and interest in basketball and the NBA/WNBA
