Dwane Casey on the team
Charley Walters/Pioneer Press reports that Dwane Casey, who was in town yesterday getting ready to sell his house, says he does still watch the team's games.Casey's response when asked how the Wolves are playing differently under Coach Wittman:
"I think the style's the same offensively," he said. "They're still a good basketball team. It's just the consistency of bringing the same focus each night. It's something that only time can take care of; it's time together. More than anything else, they need time to jell."
Casey maintains that he's "not upset" with Glen Taylor or Kevin McHale for his firing.
As for future plans, Walters writes that Casey has "accepted an invitation to instruct at a coaches clinic in Italy in June."
