Hoiberg For GM

From the Pioneer Press:
Don't be surprised if Fred Hoiberg, forced to retire as a player this season because of aortic surgery, is named the Timberwolves' player personnel director while being groomed for a general manager position.

There's little doubt that the Wolves will trade guard Marko Jaric this summer, but first they have to find a taker.

From The L.A. Times:
Minnesota owner Glen Taylor said he would not deal his All-Star center, and insiders say the Timberwolves are going to try to acquire Stephon Marbury to placate Garnett.

Hartford's Kenny Adeleke is scheduled to workout with the Wolves on May 30.
